What You Can Edit on Each Page
Each page has several tabs with editable settings:
Titles
- Title. The main heading displayed on the page.
- Subtitle. A secondary heading shown below the title.
- Link Title. The text used in navigation menus. Keep this to 3 words or fewer.
Each title field has an AI button to generate suggestions automatically.
Content
Add or edit the text content displayed on the page using the rich text editor. AI content generation is available here too.
Images
Add images to your pages using three methods:
- Create with AI (uses 50,000 AI Chips)
- Find on Pixabay (free royalty-free images)
- Upload your own image
SEO
Control how the page appears in search engines:
- Meta title. The title shown in Google search results.
- Meta description. The summary shown below the title in search results.
- Meta keywords. Keywords associated with the page.
- Slug. The URL path for the page (auto-generated from the title).
Settings
Page-specific configuration options that vary depending on the page type. For example, the homepage has settings for featured products, articles, and categories.
Page Visibility
Each page has three toggles in the sidebar:
- Enabled. Turn the page on or off. Disabled pages are hidden from visitors. Note: the homepage cannot be disabled.
- Sitemap. Include the page in your store's HTML sitemap.
- XML Sitemap. Include the page in your XML sitemap for search engines.
Tips
-
Customise your homepage first. This is the most visited page. Make sure it has a clear title, good content, and highlights your best products and categories.
-
Update your About page. A well-written About page builds trust with visitors. Explain what your store offers and who it's for.
-
Don't disable legal pages. Keep your Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy enabled. These are important for compliance and visitor trust.
-
Use AI for a starting point. Generate titles, content, and images with AI, then refine them to match your voice.
