How to change the featured products, articles and categories on your homepage
Your homepage displays featured products, articles, and categories to help visitors discover the best content in your store. You can customise all of these to highlight exactly what you want.
All three settings are found in the same place in your store dashboard.
How to Access the Settings
- Go to your store admin area
- Select Store > Pages from the left-hand menu
- Find Homepage in the list and click edit
- Click on the Settings tab
You will see options for Custom Featured Products, Custom Featured Articles, and Custom Featured Categories.
Changing Featured Products
Look for the Custom Featured Products option. Click in the field to search and select products from your store.
The products you choose will be displayed prominently on your homepage. This is a great way to highlight your best-selling or most relevant products.
Changing Featured Articles
Look for the Custom Featured Articles option. Click in the field to search and select articles from your store.
Featuring your best articles on the homepage encourages visitors to explore your content, which keeps them on your store longer and improves your search rankings.
Changing Featured Categories
Look for the Custom Featured Categories option. Click in the field to search and select categories from your store.
This controls which category tiles appear on your homepage. Choose your most important or popular categories to help visitors navigate to the right products quickly.
Saving Your Changes
Click Save when you have finished making changes. Your homepage will update with the new featured content.
If you don't see your changes on the live store straight away, you may need to clear your store cache:
Tips
- Keep it fresh. Update your featured content regularly to keep your homepage interesting for returning visitors.
- Highlight seasonal products. Feature products that match the current season or trending topics in your niche.
- Lead with your best content. Your homepage is the most visited page. Make sure the featured articles and products are your strongest.
