Store Health - Feature Guide

Store Health is a quick check page that surfaces issues to fix in your FreshStore store. It runs a set of checks across the things that most commonly cause lost revenue or a messy storefront: missing affiliate tracking IDs, products without offers, broken images, missing content, and empty categories. A red icon in the side nav with an exclamation mark tells you when something needs your attention.

Use it as a periodic tidy-up. Open it once a week or after a big import to make sure every product is earning, looks right, and is reachable.

How it works

The page groups checks into expandable sections. Each section shows a green tick if everything is in order or a red cross if action is needed. A settings button next to each section takes you straight to the place where you fix the issue, so you do not have to hunt through admin menus.

Sections collapse by default. Click any heading to expand it and read the detail.

Where to find it

In your store admin, open Tools in the left navigation and click Store Health. While your launch plan is still in progress, Store Health lives inside the Tools cluster; once you reach 100% on the launch plan it moves to the main navigation.

What it checks

  • Affiliate tracking IDs: confirms you have valid tags set up for every affiliate programme you have enabled (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, AliExpress, Etsy). Missing tags mean you do not get paid for sales, so this is the most important check.
  • Products without offers: flags products that have no live offers attached. These products cannot earn anything until offers are added or the product is unpublished. See the Offer Checker for a deeper view.
  • Broken or missing images: highlights products and articles with image problems. Use the Image Checker and Article Image Summary tools for the full sweep.
  • Missing product content: surfaces products without descriptions or meta data. The Product Content Checker handles bulk fixes.
  • Empty categories: shows categories with no products in them, which look broken to visitors and hurt SEO.

Tips

  • Run Store Health after any bulk import or category restructure. New products often arrive without offers or images attached.
  • Fix affiliate tag warnings first. Every other issue costs you a polished store, but a missing tag costs you actual commission on every sale.
  • If you have multiple Amazon regions enabled, the Amazon section will count how many countries you have tracking IDs for. Check this matches the regions you actually want to monetise.
  • Pair Store Health with the Store Cleaner for a full quarterly tidy-up.

Troubleshooting

The badge stays red after I fix an issue. Reload the page. Store Health re-runs its checks on each page load, so a hard refresh will clear stale warnings.

A section says I have no tracking ID but I do. Open the linked settings page and confirm the ID is saved (not just typed in the box). For Amazon, the check looks for any country tag, so make sure at least one region has a saved tag.

I disabled a programme but it is still being checked. Store Health only checks programmes you have enabled in Settings > Offers. Disable the programme there and the section will disappear from Store Health on the next load.
