Your Store Page - Feature Guide
Every store in your FreshStore account has its own page. It shows how the store is doing, what to do next, and every setting you can change without opening the store admin.
Where to find it
Go to Build > Stores in your account and click Manage store on the store you want. The pages sit in a row across the top. On a phone they are one dropdown under the store name.
The pages
- Overview: how the store is doing and what to do next.
- Launch plan: your setup steps. It shows while your store is still launching, then Recommendations take over on the Overview.
- Stats: visitors, clicks, estimated earnings, top pages, and where your visitors come from.
- Search: Google and Bing. The top of the page shows where each one stands; the tabs below have Setup, Performance, Indexing and Sitemap.
- Boost: ways to grow the store, such as a store review, or your own domain if the store is on a FreshStore address.
- Domain: your store's web address, and changing it.
- Settings: how your store works, on one page.
Overview
The first line tells you whether the store is open to the public, how many visitors and clicks it had in the last 30 days, and its estimated earnings. If something needs fixing, that comes first instead.
Store health lists what the store needs and what is optional: open to the public, web address working, your Amazon ID, Google and Bing, and any warnings. Each one is marked Needed or Optional and links to the fix. On a new store, an unconnected Google or Bing shows as "Not yet, that is normal".
New stores also see What to expect. Google usually lists a new store's first pages a few weeks after it is connected, so a quiet first month is normal.
Edit your store has shortcuts into the store admin, and Import Amazon links: paste up to 25 Amazon product links or ASINs, one per line, and your store adds them.
Getting into your store admin
Your store admin is where you add products, write articles and change the design. Use Edit my store at the top of any store page. It opens in a new tab, and your account stays open.
Go straight to, next to it, opens one place directly: Change design, Add products, Edit products, Write articles, Edit articles, Pages, Categories, Images or Store settings.
To come back from the store admin, choose Back to FreshStore account in its menu. It returns you to the same store's page.
Settings
All of a store's settings are on one page, in sections: Store basics, Merchants, Affiliate IDs, Products, Articles, Search engines, Your social profiles, Emails and Advanced, then Maintenance and Delete store.
- Search: type in the box at the top, for example "cart", "robots" or "Amazon", and only the matching settings stay on screen. Press / to jump to it.
- Saving: each section has its own Save button. Change what you want in a section, then press its Save. A few settings that live in your account, such as your weekly report, save as soon as you change them.
- Affiliate IDs: each ID says whether the store uses your account ID or has its own. Leave a field empty to use your account ID.
- Apply to other stores: if you have more than one store, most settings have this link. It copies that setting to the stores you choose.
- Recent changes: at the bottom, what changed on the store in the last 90 days, and who changed it.
Tips
- The switch button next to the store name opens another store on the same page, so you can check Search on one store, then the next.
- The search at the top of your account (Cmd K or Ctrl K) finds a store by its name, address or tag and jumps straight to its Overview, Settings or store admin.
- To change many stores at once, see Managing Many Stores at Once.
Troubleshooting
- A bookmark to the old store page: old links still work and open the matching page.
- "We could not read this store's settings": the store did not answer, so nothing on the Settings page can be changed for now. Reload the page in a minute.
- A setting did not save: the values you typed stay on the page. Press the section's Save again, or contact support if it keeps failing.
