Can I transfer a store or my account to someone else?
Yes. You can transfer a store, a domain, or even your whole account to another FreshStore member. Transfers are handled by our team for security, so contact support and we will take care of it for you.
What we need from you
- The email address on your FreshStore account.
- The email address of the person receiving the store (they need their own FreshStore account with an available store slot on their plan).
- Which store or domain you want to transfer.
How it works
- Store on a free vanity domain: we reassign the store to the new owner's account.
- Store on your own custom domain: we transfer the domain together with the store(s) on it. If the domain is registered outside FreshStore, remember the domain registration itself stays with whoever controls it at the registrar.
- Whole account: we can merge everything (stores, domains, and history) into the other person's account.
The new owner should update the store's affiliate tracking IDs to their own affiliate accounts after the transfer, so future commissions go to them. See the related guide below.
