Homepage Highlight Boxes - Feature Guide
Your store homepage includes a set of highlight boxes below the hero. They promote key areas of your store, such as special offers, your newsletter and your articles. Each box has its own text and link.
Where to find the highlight box settings
Highlight boxes are a section in the Store Editor. Go to Design > Editor and click the highlight boxes in the preview. Their settings open on the left.
What each box contains
Each box has its own set of fields:

How to edit the text and links
- Go to Design > Editor
- Click the highlight boxes in the preview
- Under Boxes, edit the Title, Subtitle and Link for each box
- Press Publish
The Choose button on each link field searches your own pages, categories, brands, articles and products, so you do not type the address by hand. To send visitors off your store, paste a web address instead.
How to hide one box
- Go to Design > Editor and click the highlight boxes in the preview
- Under Boxes, switch off Show this box? on the box you want to hide
- Press Publish
Each box has its own Show this box? switch, and all three are on by default. The boxes that are left widen to fill the row. Your text and link are kept, so you can switch the box back on later. If you switch off all three, the section shows nothing.
How to hide or move the whole section
Use the buttons on the section in the Editor's section list. Hide switches the whole section off and keeps your text for later. Remove deletes the section. The up and down buttons move it. You can also add a second set of highlight boxes from the add menu.
Tips
- Keep the title short (2-4 words). It appears as smaller text above the subtitle.
- Keep the subtitle clear and action-oriented. It appears as the bold, larger text.
- Use the boxes to highlight what matters most to your visitors: popular categories, seasonal offers, or your best content.
- Want two boxes instead of three? Switch off Show this box? on the one you do not need.
