Homepage Highlight Boxes - Feature Guide

Your store homepage includes three highlight boxes that appear below the hero section. They are designed to promote key areas of your store, such as special offers, your newsletter, and your articles. You can customise the text and links for each box individually.

Where to find the highlight box settings

Go to Pages in your store dashboard, then open the Homepage page. The highlight box settings are spread across two tabs:

  • Content tab - edit the title and subtitle text for each box
  • Links tab - edit the URL each box links to
  • Settings tab - toggle all highlight boxes on or off

What each box contains

Each of the three boxes has its own set of fields:

Field Box 1 (default) Box 2 (default) Box 3 (default)
Title (small text) Special offers Sign up for our newsletter View our articles
Subtitle (bold text) Access our discounts Exclusive sales, tips and news Expert buying guides
Link /special-offers /newsletter /articles

How to edit the text

  1. Go to Pages > Homepage
  2. Select the Content tab
  3. Find the Highlight Box section
  4. Edit the Title and Subtitle for each box (Box 1, Box 2, Box 3)
  5. Save your changes

How to change the links

  1. Go to Pages > Homepage
  2. Select the Links tab
  3. Find the Highlight Box Links section
  4. Edit the Link for each box. You can use:
    • An internal page path (e.g. /articles or /special-offers)
    • A full external URL (e.g. https://yourblog.com)
  5. Save your changes

How to hide the highlight boxes

You can turn off all three highlight boxes at once:

  1. Go to Pages > Homepage
  2. Select the Settings tab
  3. Find the Highlight Boxes Enabled toggle
  4. Turn it off to hide all highlight boxes from your homepage
  5. Save your changes

Note: The toggle hides all three boxes together. You cannot hide individual boxes (e.g. keep Box 1 and Box 2 but hide Box 3). If you want to effectively "remove" one box, you can clear its title and subtitle text, which will make it appear blank.

Tips

  • Keep the title short (2-4 words). It appears as smaller text above the subtitle.
  • Keep the subtitle clear and action-oriented. It appears as the bold, larger text.
  • Use the boxes to highlight what matters most to your visitors: popular categories, seasonal offers, or your best content.
  • If you only want two boxes instead of three, clear the text fields for Box 3. The box will still take up space in the layout, but it will appear empty.
