How to add videos to your store
You can easily add videos to many places in your store including articles, products, categories, and anywhere you see the Text Editor.
Get your Video Embed Code
First upload your video to YouTube or a similar platform. You will then find an "Embed Code" in the "Share" options of that video.
Copy this code for the next step.
Add the Video to your Content
Click the icon shown in the screenshot below. This is available on all text editors in your store dashboard:
After clicking the icon above, select "Embed" and paste your embed code.
Adding a video to your homepage or a custom page
Use a Custom HTML section in the Store Editor:
- Go to Design > Editor and pick your homepage or custom page from the selector at the top.
- Add a Custom HTML section from the add menu, then move it to where you want the video.
- Paste your embed code into the HTML field. It is printed on the page exactly as written.
- Press Publish.
Leave Keep to page width? on to line the video up with the rest of the page. Switch it off to remove the page-width limit.
Adding Embed Code to every page
You can also add the embed code to the "Custom HTML" fields in your Store > Text > Global Text > Custom HTML section.
Videos added here will be shown on all pages of your store.
