How to change your store name
Each of your stores has a name that is used on the homepage and throughout your store. We recommend using a unique and branded name that matches your store domain.
Change it in your store admin
This works for every member and is the place to use if you are not sure.
- Log in to your account at my.freshstore.com
- Go to Stores and click Login on the store you want to rename
- In the store admin, go to Store > Settings > Store in the left-hand menu
- Edit the Store Name field and save
Store > Settings > Store is inside the store admin, not in your account area. Your account area has no Store menu, so log in to the store first.
TIP: Are you struggling to come up with a good name? Click the AI Create button next to the Store Name field and you will get a new name suggestion.
Change it from the members area
If you are on the new members area, you can rename a store without logging in to it:
- Go to Stores and click Manage on the store
- On the Manage tab, find the Your Store panel
- Click the pencil icon next to Name, type the new name and save
This writes the same setting, so both places always show the same name.
The name in your store list has not changed
The name beside each store in your list is copied from the store itself and refreshes shortly after you save. If it still shows the old name after a few minutes, reload the page.
Your store name is not your domain
Changing the store name does not change the web address. Those are two separate settings, so a store called "Wags Doggy Store" can sit on wagsdoggyshop.com until you change the domain as well.
