Where are AI-generated images stored?
AI-generated images are stored inside your store, attached to the article, page, category, or product where you created them. FreshStore hosts the images. You don't need a separate storage service, image library, or CDN.
How to find an AI image you generated earlier
- Go to the article, page, category, or product where you created the image
- Click Edit on that item
- The image appears in the content editor or in the Images section for that item
Can I use the same AI image on another article or page?
The image is attached to the item where it was generated. To reuse it somewhere else, you can right-click the image on your store, save it to your computer, and upload it elsewhere. Or you can generate a fresh image in the new location (each generation produces a unique image).
Do AI images use extra storage?
No. There are no extra storage fees for images generated in your store. They are included with your FreshStore account.
Do AI images update automatically?
No. Unlike product images (which come from the merchant and stay in sync), AI-generated images stay as they are until you generate a new one or replace them.
What counts as "AI-generated" images?
- Images made with the AI Image Generator when editing an article, page, or category
- Your store logo made with the AI Logo Designer
- Any image created using the "Create Image" button inside the content editor
Stock photos added via the PixaBay integration are free photos from PixaBay, not AI-generated. They're stored the same way: attached to the item where you used them.
