What are AI Chips?

AI Chips are used to feed the AI Robots 🤖

You use a few AI chips each time you use the AI (e.g., to generate content, categories, meta tags). Each package includes a generous amount of new chips every month, but if you need more, you can purchase an AI Chip Pack inside your account.

Each store on your plan gets 1,500,000 new AI Chips automatically every month. Your chips can be used on any store in your account, so a three store plan gets 4,500,000 a month to share.

Do I need AI Chips to Keep My Store Working?

Your stores will work fine without AI Chips.

AI Chips are used to create new content in your store using AI. If you run out of AI Chips, your stores will still work fully, and you will still be able to do everything else, including:

  • Create Categories
  • Import Products
  • Get Sales and Commissions
  • Auto Update Products
  • Create Images

How Many AI Chips Do I Need?

When you create content with AI, the amount of AI Chips used depends on the length of the content.

These are some estimates of how many AI Chips are used for different types of content:

  • Full Product Content including Feature List, Summary, Content, Titles etc. = 1,300 Chips
  • Full Category Content including both content blocks, Titles and Meta Tags = 1,300 Chips
  • Auto-Generated Article including Meta Tags, Summary, Titles etc. = 3,500 Chips
  • A Meta Description on its own for a Product, Page, Brand, Article, Category etc. = 400 Chips
  • A Title on its own for a Product, Page, Brand, Article, Category etc. = 350 Chips
  • A Standard AI image = 20,000 Chips
  • A High quality AI image = 80,000 Chips

Writing a whole product or a whole category costs much less than the same fields written one at a time, because it is all written in one go. If you want everything on a product rewritten, use the button that writes the whole product rather than each field in turn.

How many AI Chips does building a store use?

Building a new store writes a lot of content in one go, so it is the biggest single thing you will spend chips on. How much depends mostly on how many products end up in your store.

  • Blank Store = about 25,000 Chips
  • Instant Store = about 53,000 Chips plus 1,400 for each product in the template, so about 190,000 for a typical one
  • AI Create Store = about 400,000 Chips

A Blank Store writes only your standard pages, so it is the cheapest by far. You add the catalogue yourself afterwards, and that content is what costs chips. An AI Create store costs the most because it builds everything from scratch. As well as the product content, it researches your niche, picks your store name, writes your categories, articles and pages, and creates a logo and images for you. An Instant Store starts from a ready-made store, so there is less to write.

These are what a normal build costs. A big catalogue costs more, and an AI Create store picks its own catalogue, so it can reach 950,000 Chips. The Create Store page shows you the estimate for your own build before you start it, and warns you if your balance might not cover it. An Instant Store gets an exact figure, because we know how many products the template holds.

Most builds use well under half of one month's AI Chips, and even the largest leaves you enough to keep adding products and articles.

How much content can I create per month?

Each of your stores gets 1,500,000 AI Chips per month, which is enough to create roughly:

  • 1,100 products with full content
  • 1,100 categories with full content
  • 400 full articles
  • 4,000 titles
  • 75 AI images

These are rough guides rather than limits, and you can mix them however you like. The real cost depends on how long your content is.

When are my AI Chips Renewed?

Your monthly AI Chips are renewed on the same day your monthly subscription is renewed.

If you have a yearly subscription, your AI Chips are renewed monthly on the same day your subscription was started.

If I delete my store or some products will I get the AI Chips back?

Once the AI Chips are used, they are not returned. If you delete a product, category, article or your entire store the AI Chips used will not be returned to your account.

Do my AI Chips roll over to next month?

Your AI Chips do not roll over to the next month. You get a fresh allocation of AI Chips every month.

If you have purchased extra AI Chips, these will never expire.

Are my AI Chips Limited to One Store?

No, your total AI Chips can be used on any store in your account.

How Can I Get More AI Chips?

AI Chips sit on two pages in your account, under Boost > AI Chips:

  • Your AI Chips shows your balance and the packs you already have.
  • Buy AI Chips is the shop. You can also reach it with the Buy more chips button on the first page.

Any additional AI Chips you purchase will never expire.

Free Trial Questions

Do I get AI Chips on the free trial?

Yes. Free trial accounts get the full allocation of AI Chips per store, the same as a paid subscription. This means you can fully test the AI features during your trial, including generating complete articles, product content, categories, and images, without any restrictions compared to a paying member.

What happens to AI Chips when my free trial ends?

If you subscribe to a paid plan at the end of your free trial, you will receive a fresh full allocation of AI Chips with your first monthly renewal. Any unused trial chips do not roll over.

If you do not subscribe, your account will stop consuming AI Chips along with the rest of the trial features.

Can I buy extra AI Chips during my free trial?

Extra AI Chip Packs are purchased separately and can be ordered from my.freshstore.com/ai-chip-packs/buy. Any purchased chips never expire, so they remain available if you later subscribe.

Can I see how many AI Chips I have left?

Yes. Go to my.freshstore.com/ai-chip-packs to see your current balance, your monthly allocation, and your usage history.
