How to add your store to Bing
Bing is a great source of traffic and is often ignored by website owners, which gives you a better opportunity to get rankings.
The Bing search engine is used by OpenAI which gives you an extra source of traffic via ChatGPT conversations.
How to add your store to Bing
Create an account with Bing Webmaster Tools here and follow the instructions:

During setup, Bing offers several ways to verify ownership of your site. The easiest option for a FreshStore store is sitemap verification (also called "Add your XML Sitemap"). Use the sitemap URL shown in your store's XML Sitemap feature and paste it into Bing.
You don't need to upload a BingSiteAuth.xml file. FreshStore doesn't support uploading arbitrary files to your store's root. Use sitemap verification instead, which works the same way for Bing and is already supported on every FreshStore.
Troubleshooting
"Max limit reached for number of sites registered under this domain"
If you see this error when adding your store to Bing, it is because your store is on a shared domain (such as a FreshStore vanity domain). Because other FreshStore members also use the same root domain, Bing limits how many sites can be registered under it.
To resolve this, switch your store to a custom domain. With your own domain, you will be able to register it in Bing without any issues.

🔗 Why your own domain matters
Bing is asking me to upload a BingSiteAuth.xml file. What do I do?
Skip that option. Pick the XML Sitemap verification option instead. Your FreshStore generates a sitemap automatically at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. Paste that URL into Bing Webmaster Tools.
Bing is asking for a meta tag or HTML verification
You can also verify with a meta tag. Copy the meta tag from Bing and add it to your store using the Meta Tags and Custom Scripts feature (Store Settings > Meta Tags and Custom Scripts). Save, then return to Bing and click Verify.
