Add Custom HTML - Feature Guide

Adding Custom HTML is an advanced feature that allows deeper customization of your store.

There are four places you can add Custom HTML in your store:

• Top of the Page
• After the Header
• Before the Footer
• Bottom of the Page

Any HTML added here will show on every page in your store in those places.

For HTML on one page only, add a Custom HTML section to that page in Design > Editor. It works on your homepage and on pages you create, and you can place it between any two sections. See the Store Editor feature guide.

To add the HTML, go to Store > Text > Global Text in your store admin and open the Custom HTML tab. The four fields are named Custom HTML - Top, Custom HTML - After Header, Custom HTML - Before Footer and Custom HTML - Bottom.

Please note that adding Custom HTML can break the layout of your store. Remember to clear your store cache after making changes and check a few pages in your store (on Desktop and Mobile) to make sure everything still looks good.
