How to open your eBay affiliate account

Your eBay affiliate account allows you to get commission payments from the eBay products you sell. It is free and easy to open.

Opening your eBay affiliate account

  1. You will be asked to sign in to your main eBay account first. If you don't have one, you can create a PERSONAL account using this link. https://signup.ebay.com/. If you already have an eBay account, don't create a new one. You are not allowed to have multiple eBay accounts, which may cause your account to be closed later. Simply sign in using your email or username.

  2. Simplify your sign in. Depending on your device, you can sign in with your fingerprint, face, or PIN. Please note that this step can be skipped.

    Complete your information. Enter all your real details during the account creation. Your account may take a day or two to be approved.

    Here are some tips for the form:

    • "Business Model" - choose "Search/Comparison"
    • "Property Type" - select "Website" and add in your FreshStore or any website you own
    • "Mobile" - select the option applicable to you; can be skipped
    • "Social Networks" - enter them only if you have them already. They are not required.
  3. Hit the sign up button to agree to all terms.
  4. You will get an application notification that will advise you to get back after 24 hours to learn if your account has been approved.

Your Campaign ID

After your account is approved, you only need your "Campaign ID", which is added to your store settings. This is what tracks your store sales to your eBay affiliate account.

You can find your Campaign ID under the "Campaigns" section in your eBay affiliate account. It should look like this:

You can create multiple Campaign IDs here. It is not necessary, but having a different Campaign ID for each of your stores will help your reporting and show you where your sales are coming from.


Make sure to add your 10-digit campaign ID to your store's Offer Settings >> eBay Settings Tab.
