Do I need Amazon API Keys?

No, you do not need Amazon API keys. Your FreshStore stores work fully without them.

FreshStore handles the Amazon integration for you automatically. All your stores are connected to Amazon out of the box, and you do not need to apply for any API keys or enter any credentials.

If you are an experienced Amazon affiliate with 10+ sales and want to unlock extra benefits like more countries and faster data, you can optionally add your own Amazon Creators API credentials. See our guide for details:

The old Amazon Product Advertising API (PA-API) keys are being retired on May 15, 2026. If you previously entered PA-API keys, they will stop working after that date. FreshStore has already migrated to the new Creators API, so your stores are not affected.
