The Next batch card
The Next batch card is the Home page card that says your plan has room for more sites. This guide explains when it shows, what its button does, and how to put it away.
What the card means
Your plan comes with a set number of site Licenses. Each site you build uses one, and deleting a site frees one. The card appears when you have enough free Licenses for a batch, and it says so: "You have room for N more sites on your plan."
The title changes with your account. With no sites yet it reads "Build your first batch". Once you have sites it reads "Your plan has room for more sites". The message under it is the same either way: each site is its own test, so build several, give each a fair run, and keep the ones that get found.
When it shows
The card shows on a paid plan (not during the free trial) when at least five site Licenses are free. It does not wait for your existing sites to reach a certain age. If the room is there, the card is there.
It goes away on its own when you start a batch, or when your free Licenses drop under five because you built sites one at a time.
Where it shows
On your account Home page, in the Next Action card near the top. Home shows one card at a time, in order of what matters most, so if a site needs a tag or a domain first, that card comes before this one. The full list, including this card, is always on your Next steps page at my.freshstore.com/recommendations.
What "Build my next batch" does
The button opens Batch Build at my.freshstore.com/stores/batch, where you tick niches and templates and build several sites at once. Nothing is built until you press Build on that page. The card only takes you there.
How to use Batch Build: Build your first batch.
While a batch builds
Once a batch has started, Home swaps the card for a progress panel: "4 of 10 ready", how long it has run, and a link to Batch Build. When the build finishes, a different card takes over, "Finish setting up your batch", which counts the Amazon tag, own domain and Google steps across the new sites until all three are done.
How to dismiss it
Two ways, both on the card.
- Remind me later hides the card for a week, then brings it back.
- Dismiss hides it until you ask for it again.
To bring a dismissed card back, open Next steps, click the Dismissed tab, and press Restore on the card. It then shows again whenever the conditions above are met.
Dismissing the card changes nothing about your plan or your Licenses. The room is still there when you want it.
