Product Feeds - Feature Guide
Product feeds bring products from the affiliate networks you have joined into your store. Each product gets your own tracking link. The feed refreshes on a schedule, so prices and stock stay up to date.
Accelerator members have Product feeds first. Everyone from 4 November 2026.
Go to Products > Add Products > Product feeds in your store dashboard.
What a product feed does
- It reads the product list that your network gives you for the shops you have joined.
- It makes one product for each row that passes your filters. Each product gets a custom offer with your network link on the buy button.
- It puts each new product into a store category, with your category rules.
- Each run updates the price and stock of the products it made. Your own changes to the product text stay.
Networks you can connect
| Network | What you enter |
| Awin | "Product feed API key" and "Feed ids". Add your "Publisher id" for Enhanced feeds (feed ids that start with F). |
| Impact | "Account SID", "Auth Token" and "Catalog ids". Add your "Tracking link" for the brand. |
| CJ | "Personal access token", "Company id (CID)" and "Website id (PID)", then "Feed ad ids" or "Advertiser ids". |
| Rakuten Advertising | "Client id", "Client secret", "SID" and "Advertiser ids (mid)". |
| Tradedoubler | "Products token" and "Feed ids". Tradedoubler gives the first 1,000 products of each feed. |
| AvantLink | "Affiliate id" and "Website id", then "Merchant ids" or "Datafeed ids". |
| CSV file or link | A CSV, TSV or gzip feed file from any network. Upload the file, or paste a public link to it in "Feed link". |
The help text under each field tells you where to find the value in your network account. Your keys are stored encrypted and are not shown again.
New to a network? These guides show you how to join:
Set up a product feed
1. Add the feed
Click "Add a feed". Choose your "Network" and give the feed a "Name". Then fill in the "Connection" fields.
2. Map the categories
Under "Categories", click "Add a rule". In "Feed category contains", type a word from the network's category name. In "Store category", choose the category for those products. The first rule that matches picks the category. Use * to match everything.
Set a "Default category" for rows that no rule matches. If you leave it empty, those products import with no category.
3. Choose what to import
- "Lowest price" and "Highest price": import only products in this price range.
- "Only rows with any of these words": import only products with one of these words in the title, category or brand.
- "Leave out rows with these words": skip products with these words.
- "In stock only": import only products that are in stock. It is on by default.
- "Most products from this feed": the most products this feed keeps in your store.
4. Set the schedule
- "Schedule": choose "Every day", "Every week" or "Only when I click Import now".
- "Country": choose who sees these offers. "All countries" shows them to every visitor.
- "Refresh on the schedule": turn it off to pause the feed.
5. Choose AI product copy (optional)
Turn on "Write new product copy with AI" to have AI write the text for each new product. Before you import, the form shows how many AI Chips this uses. If your balance is too low, the products past your balance import without new copy.
With this setting off, products keep the feed's title and a short summary.
6. Test, preview and import
Click "Create". Then use these actions on your feed in the list:
- "Test connection" checks your details with the network.
- "Preview" shows the first rows as they will import, with their categories.
- "Import now" starts the import in the background. Refresh the page after a minute to see the result.
The "Last run" column shows "Done", "Part done", "Failed", "Importing" or "Queued", with a short message.
When a product leaves the feed
A product leaves a feed when the shop stops selling it, for example. FreshStore never deletes it.
- When a product is missing from two complete runs in a row, its offer is removed and the product is retired.
- Your "When All Offers Are Dead" setting decides what the product page does. To change it, go to Settings > Products.
- If the product comes back into the feed, its offer and page come back too.
- If you restore a retired product yourself, the feed does not retire it again.
- If a network sends only part of a feed, nothing is retired on that run.
When you delete a feed, it stops refreshing. Its products stay in your store as they are.
Track each store in your network reports
One network account often serves many stores. FreshStore adds your store's "Tracking sub id" to custom affiliate links, so your network report shows which store sent the click. By default, the sub id is your store's domain with each dot changed to a hyphen. To change it, go to Settings > Offers.
Each network and shop sets its own rules, approval and commission rates. Check their terms before you promote a shop.
Questions and Troubleshooting
Can Auto Populators or the Product Finder find my feed products?
Not yet. The Product Finder, Fill Categories and Auto Populators search only the five built-in merchants: Amazon, eBay, Walmart, AliExpress and Etsy. To add products from a network, use a product feed.
My network is not in the list. Can I still use it?
Yes. Download the product feed file from your network. Choose "CSV file or link" as the network, then upload the file or paste a public link to it. Columns are matched by name, such as title, link, price, image and category.
To add products one link at a time, choose "Any shop" in the Link Importer.
The test says "Could not connect". What should I do?
Check each "Connection" field against your network account. The help text under each field shows where to find it. A network gives you feeds only for shops that have approved you, so check that the shop has approved you too.
