Is my store live? Do I need to publish it?
Your store is already live. It goes live the moment it finishes building, and there is no publish button, no switch to flip, and nothing to submit for approval.
Anyone in the world can visit it right now, and search engines can find it.
Where is my store address?
Go to your list of stores:

Each store shows its web address. Click it, or copy it into any browser, and you will see exactly what a visitor sees. Opening it in a private or incognito window is a good way to check, because you are not logged in there either.
Then what are the Recommendations for?
The Recommendations page is a list of things that make your store earn more. It is not a gate, and your store does not wait for it. You can work through it in any order, over days or weeks, while the store is live the whole time.
Ticking every item does not switch anything on, and leaving items unticked does not hold anything back.
Why does my store look quiet?
A brand new store is live but nobody knows about it yet, so it will show few or no visitors at first. That is normal and it is not a sign anything is wrong.
