Which Amazon country does my store use?
Your store can pull products from one or more Amazon marketplaces (countries). You choose which ones, and each country uses its own Amazon affiliate tracking ID.
The Amazon country is selected automatically based on your visitors location. For example, a visitor from the UK will only see links for the UK Amazon site (i.e. amazon.co.uk).
Where to set your Amazon countries
You can enable/disable the different Amazon countries and add your affiliate tracking ID for each one in your store dashboard:
- Go to Settings > Affiliate Settings > Amazon in your store dashboard.
- Under Amazon Countries, select the country or countries you want your store to use.
- Enter the Amazon tracking ID for each country you enable. Amazon tracking IDs end in a country suffix such as
-20(USA) or-21(UK). - Click Save.
Which country is my Amazon Associates account in?
Your Amazon Associates (affiliate) account belongs to the country where you signed up, for example Amazon.com (USA) or Amazon.co.uk (UK). You can confirm this by logging in to the Amazon affiliate site for that country.
You need a separate Amazon affiliate account, and a separate tracking ID, for each Amazon country you want to promote.
