How to add an "Impressum"

An "Impressum" is a legally required notice on websites in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) that identifies the website's owner and provides contact information. It's essentially a statement of ownership and authorship, similar to a "legal notice" or "site notice" in other contexts.

You Impressum can be added to your store in several places:

• In the header or footer of your store if you want it to show on every page. Go to "Store -> Text -> Global Text" and choose the "Custom HTML" tab. Here you can enter your Impressum and formatting, and choose from several places.

• In your Privacy Policy to show it on a single page. Go to "Store -> Pages" and edit the Privacy Policy page to add your Impressum.

  
  
• Other Pages if you have another preference. You can choose from the Terms of Use page, About page, or even the Homepage.
