Affiliate Disclaimer - Feature Guide

Your store has options to show an Affiliate Disclaimer in several places in your store.

What is an Affiliate Disclaimer?

Some merchants, such as Amazon, require you to show an Affiliate Disclaimer in your store. This is a bit of text that explains you are an affiliate and you are promoting Amazon.

Here is an example:

Affiliate disclosure: When you click links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network, Walmart, Etsy, AliExpress and Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases from Amazon.

Is this automatically done for me?

Yes, we automatically add an Affiliate Disclaimer at the bottom of your store (in the footer area) and on your product pages next to your affiliate links.

This is our recommendation to stay compliant with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc. although you may wish to add a disclaimer in your Header also.

How can I change the Affiliate Disclaimers?

They can be changed in your Text section in your store dashboard. You can access this via the left menu "Store -> Text".

There are two options (Header and Footer) in the "Global Text" section, and one in the "Product Text" section.

To remove the Affiliate Disclaimer, simply delete the text and save.
