Other affiliate networks

FreshStore has built-in support for Amazon, eBay, Walmart, AliExpress, and Etsy. But there are many other affiliate networks out there that can help you earn more from your store.

By promoting products and services from additional networks, you can diversify your income and find offers that are a better fit for your niche.

Why Use Other Affiliate Networks?

  • Higher commissions. Some networks offer 20-50% commission rates compared to Amazon's typical 1-10%.
  • Niche-specific products. Specialised merchants often have products that Amazon doesn't carry.
  • Recurring commissions. Some programmes pay you every month for as long as the customer stays subscribed.
  • Longer cookie windows. Amazon gives you 24 hours to earn a commission. Many other networks give you 30, 60, or even 90 days.

How to Promote Other Networks in Your Store

There are two ways to add affiliate links from other networks to your store:

1. Custom Offers on Products

FreshStore's Custom Offers feature lets you add any affiliate link as a buy button on any product. This means you can add offers from any network directly alongside your Amazon, eBay, and other built-in offers.

This is the best approach when you have a specific product that is available on another merchant or network.

2. Affiliate Links in Articles

You can also promote other networks through your articles and content:

  1. Sign up to the affiliate network and find relevant products or services
  2. Get your unique affiliate link from the network
  3. Write an article in your store reviewing or recommending the product
  4. Add your affiliate link to the article using the content editor

This works especially well for "best of" roundup articles, product comparisons, and how-to guides where you can naturally recommend tools and services.

Choosing the Right Networks for Your Niche

Don't sign up to every network. Focus on one or two that have products your audience actually wants.

  • Health and fitness: ClickBank (supplements, programmes), ShareASale (fitness gear brands)
  • Technology: Impact (SaaS tools), CJ Affiliate (electronics brands)
  • Fashion and lifestyle: Awin (clothing brands), ShareASale (boutique retailers)
  • Home and garden: CJ Affiliate (home improvement brands), ShareASale (decor merchants)
  • Finance: CJ Affiliate and Impact (credit cards, banking, investing platforms)

Tips for Success

  • Don't spread too thin. It's better to promote a few products well than to scatter links across dozens of networks.

  • Disclose your affiliations. Always let your visitors know when a link is an affiliate link. This builds trust and is required by law in many countries.

  • Track your performance. Check your dashboards regularly to see what's converting and double down on what works.

  • Write genuine recommendations. Only promote products you believe in. Your visitors will trust your content more, and you will earn more in the long run.
