How to change your robots.txt file

You can change the content of your robots.txt file in your store dashboard. Go to "Store -> Settings -> Traffic" to edit the contents.

The robots.txt file is used to control spiders and bots that automatically access your store. This includes search engines like Google and services like ChatGPT.

It also limits "Bad Bots" that crawl your store excessively and scrap your content. This includes platforms like Ahrefs and some search engines like Yandex.

Your store may be limited if it receives too much spam traffic. Your default robots.txt file is designed to limit bad bots and spam traffic. Only edit your robots.txt if you are sure of what you are doing.
