Category Builder - Feature Guide
For new users and those who are unsure about which categories to create, the Category Builder is the recommended choice. It builds a full set of categories and subcategories for your niche with AI.
Give the Category Builder a try! You can always delete the categories and start again if you don't like them.
Where to find it
Go to Products > Add Products > Category Builder.
On a store with no categories yet, you will also see a Category Builder button on Products > Categories. It opens the same tool.
How it works
- Your Store Niche is filled in for you. Edit it if you like. A specific niche, such as "weight loss supplements" rather than "supplements", gives better categories.
- Click next and you will see a list of suggested categories and subcategories. You can edit the list before confirming. A line that starts with "-" is a subcategory.
- Click Build Categories.
All the categories and subcategories are then created with AI. This includes all the content (titles, summary, main content and so on) and the meta information for SEO (Meta Title, Meta Description and so on). The Category Builder uses AI Chips.
If your store already has categories, the Category Builder adds new ones and keeps the ones you have. To start fresh, delete your current categories first at Products > Categories.
