Brands - Feature Guide

A brand is a generic term for a product's manufacturer, label, creator etc. Examples of brands include “Sony”, “Nike”, and “Adidas”.

How Brands are Automatically Created

Brands are automatically created when products are created by importing offers. They can also be added or edited manually. To add a brand manually you will go to: Your Store—>Brands—>New Brand

A page will open where you can add the Brand Title, Subtitle, Content, Logo Image, and so on.

Brands are Disabled by Default

When Brands are imported, there can be duplicates because of the inconsistent data received from Amazon and other merchants.

For example, there might be multiple brands created like "Sony", "Sony Televisions", "Sony Electronics" etc.

The brands are disabled by default so you can check, merge, and enable only the ones you want. This keeps your public store brands from getting messy.

How to Enable Brands

We recommend that you do not enable every single brand in your store. Instead, enable a few popular or well-known brands and a few that have the most products.

We recommend following this workflow for tidying up and enabling your brands:

  • Find a popular brand with some products
  • Find and merge any variations of that brand (see below)
  • Edit the Brand and create content using AI with the "Content" button
  • Add any additional products not assigned to that brand
  • Find and add the brand logo
  • Enable the brand and it will show in your store

How to Merge Brands

When importing offers, there can sometimes be spelling mistakes or different variations of the brand name (e.g. “Adidas” and “Adidas Clothing”). To get around this, we have a feature to merge brands.

This video explains some key things about brands and how to merge them:
