Building your next store
Building your second store takes about five minutes, because the AI does the building and you already know what you are doing. This guide covers when to start one, which niche to pick, and how to connect the two.
Your second store costs you a fraction of the time the first one did. The build is the same five minutes, and the learning is already done.
When is the moment?
The store itself is quick. What a second store asks of you is a bit of attention, so the best time to start one is when the first store is running comfortably:
- Your first store is live and getting regular traffic.
- You are making sales, or seeing consistent affiliate clicks.
- You have a rhythm for the first store: content, products, social media.
- You fancy a new niche.
Two well tended stores will outperform five neglected ones, so this is worth deciding rather than doing on reflex. Going deeper on the store you already have is often the more profitable answer, and it is always available.
Related niche or a new one?
A related niche is the usual recommendation for a second store. If your first store is about coffee, your next could be tea and herbal drinks, kitchen gadgets, or home baking. You can cross-promote between the two, share social accounts, and your existing audience is already interested.
A completely different niche is fine if you want to diversify or you have found something exciting. You know the process now, and the traffic and social following build the same way they did the first time.
Take the lessons with you
Before you start, five minutes on what the first store taught you:
- Traffic sources. Which methods actually brought visitors? Start with those.
- Content that performed. Which articles got views and clicks? Write those first this time.
- Products that sold. What price range and product type converted? Look for the equivalent.
- Social platforms. Which ones worked? Can you reuse the same accounts?
- What you would do differently. Whatever you wish you had known at the start of store one, you know now. This is where it pays.
Connecting your stores
If the niches are related, link them up so they feed each other:
- Articles. Write pieces that naturally reference products or topics on your other store, and link across.
- Brands. Where a brand appears in both niches, link between the stores when you mention it.
- Social. Share both stores from the same profiles where the audiences overlap.
- Email. Tell your existing subscribers about the new store if it is relevant to them.
Getting started
Go to Stores > Create. Pick your niche from the cards, or let the AI research a fresh set, then leave it to build while you get on with something else. We will email you when the store is ready. After that, follow the store's Launch Plan.
Your affiliate tags come with you. They live at account level under Settings > Affiliate Networks and every new store inherits them automatically, so there is nothing to set up unless you want a different tag for this one.
